Fireworks
We saw this last night, but had a much better view.
Last night was a wonderful party. Over at my friend’s house which overlooks the Hudson on the 10th floor of a most amazing building, we saw a spectacular display. We had good food, good wine, and much cheer. There were several classical musicians in attendance, and they had a private, world class jam being some of the best musicians on the planet at the top of their game. It is so good to see people at the top of their game, they make it look so easy. One never thinks about the amount of practice, which is what got them there in the first place. Trading requires much practice, but unfortunately, most people run out of money before they can get their practice in. Such a paradox, and I wonder what it would take to get someone to get in the required practice before they run out of money.

Wow. Front row and centre to that would have been spectacular.
I had a jam on Saturday as well, but most certainly not the calibre of yours, Jeff. I would say we’re still most definitely in the early-stages practicing mode.
Cheers,
George

I wonder if the fact that good traders seem to be good at other games is coming about because that’s where they get their trading practice without losing their shirt?
The fireworks on the 4th in Seattle are always fun…especially if you can arrange to be on one of the boats on Lake Union and watch them shoot up right in front of you.

Dave, A firm believer of games, I feel that good traders excel at games and carry that over to trading. No matter what you say, trading is a game, in fact is the biggest game in town.
